These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SplitLab iOS application ("the app") provided by SplitLab ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Use of the app

SplitLab is a free iOS application for personal, non-commercial use. You may use the app to analyse your own running and health data. You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app in any unlawful manner or for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to extract or misuse data surfaced by the app outside of its intended purpose

2. Health data and Apple HealthKit

The app reads data from Apple Health (HealthKit) solely to provide run analytics on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your health or location data. Your use of Apple Health is also governed by Apple's own terms and privacy policy.

3. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, and assets in the app are owned by or licensed to SplitLab and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand features.

4. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Analytics produced by the app are for informational purposes only and should not be treated as medical or professional advice.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SplitLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SplitLab operates, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
